Rideau Vineyard Tasting

Free to book

  • Reserving a table is free — you only pay for the wine you enjoy.
  • Relaxed outdoor table service on our historic grounds.
  • Choose the Adobe Flight ($30) or Signature Flight ($35) — five wines each — or order by the glass or bottle.
  • Walk-ins are welcome daily, 11:00am – 4:30pm. Reservations are always appreciated so that we can best serve you.
  • For parties over 16, please contact us directly at (805) 688-0717 so we can properly understand the needs of your larger group.

Rideau Estate Experience

$125 per guest · $100 for Club members

The Rideau Estate Experience is the premium way to
experience our wines and our estate.

  • A private guided tasting of our single-varietal estate wines, each paired with a small bite from our kitchen.
  • Additional flatbread & charcuterie bites served after the paired tasting.
  • Includes a private tour of our vineyard and winery, connecting the terroir to the wines in your glass.
  • Allow 90–120 minutes. Offered for groups of 2–10 guests.

Available Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 12:00pm and 2:30pm. Must be booked at least one week in advance.

From the Kitchen

Kitchen Menu

Our kitchen is open daily from 11am–4pm. Certain items are only available on certain days of the week, as noted below.

Brie, smoked gouda, goat cheese, prosciutto, salame, fresh seasonal fruit, dried figs, cornichon pickles, olive tapenade, Rideau wine jam, and fresh toasted bread.

Hummus, guacamole, house-made olive tapenade, mixed nuts and marcona almonds, various pickles, fresh seasonal fruit, dried figs, Rideau wine jam, carrots, and pita bread.

Margherita — tomatoes, basil, mozzarella.
Prosciutto — prosciutto, arugula, olive oil, mozzarella.
Mediterranean — olives, artichokes, tomatoes, mozzarella, feta, mushrooms.
Calabrese — Calabrese-style salame, mushrooms, olives, mozzarella, feta, crushed red pepper.

Buttered brioche bun, ground beef, cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, bacon, hamburger sauce, and a mixed green salad with lemon vinaigrette and potato chips.

Saturday & Sunday only

Lemon and herb-seasoned lobster served on baguette bread.

Thursday through Sunday only

Two savory crème puffs and one chocolate–salt caramel tart. ($8 for one, $15 for two; additional chocolate tart $3.)

We offer a variety of food items for kids, including cheese and pepperonni pizzas, hot dogs, and a lunch box with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Tasting Room FAQs

A few helpful things to know before you arrive — and if your question isn’t here, we’re always glad to help.

Reservations are not required for the Rideau Vineyard Tasting but are strongly recommended, especially on weekends, to ensure faster service. Walk-in guests are always welcomed as availability permits. The Rideau Estate Experience must be reserved at least one week in advance.

The Rideau Vineyard Tasting starts at $30 per guest for a five-wine flight — the Adobe Flight ($30) or Signature Flight ($35) — with wine also available by the glass or bottle. Reserving your table is free; you only pay for what you taste. Plan on about 75 minutes of relaxed table service on the grounds.

Absolutely — we’re very kid-friendly. We have a swing, lawn games, and spacious grounds for little ones to enjoy. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and please include all members of your party — including non-drinking adults and children out of stroller age — in your total guest count.

You’re welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy alongside your tasting on the grounds.

Yes, we are dog-friendly! We do ask that dogs are kept on a leash during your visit.

Our tasting room and grounds are open daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm, with the last seating at 4:30pm. We are open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
